Good carpentry is about measuring carefully, choosing the right material for Miami's humidity and finishing cleanly. We build and install floating shelves, closet systems, built-in bookcases, slat accent walls and entertainment walls, always anchored properly to the drywall, block or concrete behind them.

We also repair and refinish what is already there. Solid wood doors, especially on older homes in Coral Gables, Little Havana and the Grove, can usually be stripped, repaired and refinished rather than replaced. Cabinet doors that have warped, drawers that stick and trim that has separated from the wall are all everyday fixes for us.

Exterior carpentry needs extra care in South Florida. Fences, gates, decks and pergolas take a beating from sun and rain, so we use pressure-treated or naturally resistant wood, stainless or coated fasteners, and stains and sealers made for this climate. Regular cleaning and resealing is the difference between a fence that lasts five years and one that lasts fifteen.
